Billing: Your credit card will be charged for the full retail value of the rental items (which is double the rental price), plus the standard shipping fee (currently $8.95) per delivery address, before they are shipped to you. You will be credited for the difference between the retail price of the item and the rental rate when we receive the item back in good condition (less any necessary late fees). The dress(es) will arrive with a prepaid return label so you can ship them back quickly, easily, and at no extra cost.
Time Requirements: The optimum time frame for starting a dress rental is 4-5 weeks in advance of the wedding.
Delivery: Your rented dress(es) will be delivered to you (usually via UPS) no later than the Wednesday the week before the event. It you should research local seamstresses and contact one so that you can have any necessary minor alterations done the week of the event. Bridal and bridesmaids' gowns, whether rented or purchased, will almost always need minor alterations, especially the hemline. Please have a seamstress or tailor ready to make those adjustments for you. These alterations will be at your expense, as they would be if you purchased your dress from a bridal store.
Late Fees:
We must enforce a strict late fee policy, because other brides and
grooms may be waiting on the same rental items. We expect the
items to be shipped back to us no later than the third day after the
wedding. For most Saturday weddings, we need to have them
shipped
by you by close of business Tuesday. That allows us time to
have
the items cleaned before the next rental availability. During
busy wedding months, the same garment may be needed at two weddings
fourteen days apart. The late fees are $25.00 per day per
item. In the above scenario, for a wedding on Saturday the
1st of
June, the items we expect the items to be sent on or before Tuesday the
4th. If you send it Wednesday, you will be refunded the
difference of the retail price and the rental rate, less
$25.00.
If you send it Thursday, you will lose $50.00. If you run
into
trouble, call us as soon as possible so we can find a
solution.
Remember, other brides and grooms are depending on us.
Cleaning: You do not have to clean the items. We will have them professionally cleaned.
